Sec. Ramon Reyes Jimenez
Today, Friday, January 6, 2012, the Department of Tourism (DOT) of the Philippines launched its new tourism campaign with the slogan "It's more fun in the Philippines!" This was announced by DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez after its previous slogan "Pilipinas Kay Ganda" was bombarded with numerous criticisms.

With this new slogan, I personally believe that it will gain criticisms more than the previous one. There is "no dating" with this cliche. Pang-grade one! Why not did it with a contest before since tourism involves the 93+ Million Filipinos?

In the coming days, the intellectuals, the funny Filipinos and the "walang magawa" will voice out their intelligent, funnier and more sarcastic remarks aimed at DOT and Secretary Jimenez. Indeed, it's more fun in the Philippines!
