Djokovic, Stosur Dominate 2011 US Open Tennis Championship

Novak Djokovic of Sebia slammed Rafael Nadal of Spain , 6-2, 6-4, 6-7 (3) in over 4 hours to win the 2011 US Open Men's  Tennis  Tournament in New York, USA on Monday, 12 September 2011. It was the third Grand Slam of the year for Djokovic.

Meanwhile, Samantha Stosur of Australia smashed Serena Williams of the USA to capture the women's title, 6-2, 6-3.

Novak Djokovic of Serbia slammed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6, to win the 2008 Australian Open single men's final on hard surface of Melbourne Park, Melbourne, Australia on Sunday, 27 January 2008.

Earlier on 25 January 2008, Maria Sharapova of Russia dunked Ana Ivanovic of Serbia, 7-5, 6-3 to capture the women's single championship.
