Djokovic Slashes Nadal To Win 2012 Australian Open Men's Singles Title

It's over! Once again, Novak Djokovic triumphed over Spain's Rafael Nadal to capture the 2012 Australian Open Men's Singles Tennis Tournament title. 

Djokovic stunned Rafa 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 & 7-5 at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia in the early Monday morning, January 29, 2012. 

The match lasted for 5 hours and 52 minutes, the longest in the history of the Australian Open, making most Aussies sleepy at work on Monday. The 24 years old from Belgrade had won four of the five grand slams beating Nadal in 3 successive grand finals.

Baghdatis Wacking Rage at 2012 Australian Open

Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus released his frustration by whacking 4 rackets in a row. This happened during a break after the 26-year old Baghdatis suffered his second round loss to Stanislas Wawrinka on Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, Australia today, January 19,2012. With his outburst of human emotion, he gained a $1,250 fine and an instant popularity at Youtube.

After he released his tension, Baghdatis won the third set but eventually lost the last set and the match to Wawrinka, 7-6, 6-4, 5-7 and 6-1.
