KORINA SANCHEZ - MAR ROXAS NUPTIAL
Ikinasal na kahapon, 27 October 2009 sa SAn Domingo Church sa Quezon City ang magsing-irog na sina Korina Sanchez at Senador Mar Roxas. Simple ngunit elegante ang naganap na pag-iisang dibdib ng dalawa na sinaksihan ng mga personalidad sa lipunan, pelikula at politika kabilang na ang maraming tagahanga ng dalawa.
Nahuli ng 45 minuto si Korina dahil dumaan pa ito sa puntod ng mga magulang sa Taguig at naipit ng trapik sa daan. May salu-salo sa labas ng simbahan at pribadong handaan sa tirahan ng mga Araneta sa Cubao.
Dalangin ng mga nakararami ay ang pagkakaroon ng anak ng mag-asawa kahit na nga ba may isa ng anak na lalaki si Mar sa una niyang minahal.

Daig pa ni Manny Pacquiao nang hagupitin ni ONDOY ang buong Pilipinas. Nanalasa ang mabagsik na bagyo noong Sabado at nag-iwan ng pinsala sa buhay at kabuhayan ng mga Filipino. Naperwisyo nang matindi ang bayan ng Marikina kung saan maraming subdivision ang nalubog sa tubig-baha partikular na sa Providence Subdivision kung saan maraming residente ang naulat na namatay sa pagkalunod.
Kalunos-lunos ang sinapit ng ating mga kababayan at sana naman ay may natutunan tayo sa trahedyang ito.
Libre naman ang TV coverage ni Gilbert Teodoro bilang chairman ng National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC).

FARM VILLE or FARM TOWN?
Ito ang dahilan kung bakit pansamantala kong nakalimutan na meron pala akong blog..hehehe. Paano'y tila "nahibang" ako sa paglalaro ng dalawang larong ito sa Facebook. Kakainis kasi ang nag-invite sa akin eh... isinama pa ako sa pagpupuyat nila. Sabagay, nakalilibang nga ang mga larong ito kaya lang kung hindi mo kokontrolin e maaadik ka talaga. Meron nga akong kakilala na gumigising pa nang madaling araw para lamang umani ng talong, kalabasa, sibuyas at kung anu-ano pang gulay. Sayang nga naman ang coins at experience points. Kung saan ako dadalhin ng "kabaliwang" ito, hintayin na lang natin.

Lalaking Nanggahasa, PATAY!
Namatay ang kambing na ginahasa ng lalaking lasing sa Kabisayaan ngayong araw na ito ayon sa TV Patrol. Nakakulong ngayon ang lalaki at isasailalim sa psychiatric evaluation upang malaman kung siya ay may diprensya sa pag-iisip.
Ayon sa mga hayop na nasa parang ng gabing iyon, ang kambing daw ang may kasalanan kung bakit ito nagahasa.
Matapos daw umihi ang lasing ay tinanong ang mga hayop kung sino ang may gusto ng kanyang "talong".
Sumagot daw ang kambing ng " Meeehh!"
Tinanong ng lalaki ang kalabaw kung ang kambing ang may gusto ng kanya.
" Uu ngah!" sagot naman ng kalabaw.
Hindi pa malaman ng may-ari ng kambing kung ililibing ito o kakalderitahin upang maging pulutan.

Miss Venezuela rin ang dating Miss Universe 2008 na nagputong ng korona kay Stefania.
Luhaan ang ating mga kababayan dahil hindi man lang napasali sa Top 15 si Bianca Manalo, ang ating kandidata bilang Miss Philippines. Ipinagdiriwang ng sambayanang Filipino ang ika-26 na taong anibersaryo ng kamatayan ni Senador Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino ngayong araw na ito, 21 August 2009
Marami ang umalala sa sakripisyong ipinamalas ni Ninoy na naging daan upang makalaya ang mga Filipino sa diktadurya ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos.
Kung sinuman talaga ang bumaril kay Ninoy sa tarmac at kung sino ang mastermind ay hindi mahalaga sa ngayon. May karma naman. Bahala na ang Panginoon sa maysala.
Nagsuot ng dilaw na damit ang nakiisa sa pagdiriwang at nagkabit ng yellow ribbon.

Well, ito ang mararamdaman mo kung galing ka sa malamig at pagkatapos ay mapupunta ka sa pagkainit-init na lugar. Yeah, I'm back here in Jubail. Actually, noon pang August 12. Ang kaso may jet lag pa at marami agad trabaho.
Kung maganda ang pag-uwi ko sa Sydney noong May 1, medyo palpak ang biyahe ko sa eroplano nitong pagbabalik ko sa KSA. Oriental food at lagi akong pinagsisilbihan ng una sa karamihan ng pasahero noong pauwi ako sa Australia. Nitong pagbalik ko, naku hilaw pa yong brilyani rice na isinilbi. As in, bigas pa. At hindi rin kusang nag-aalok ng tsaa at kape. Kailangang humingi ka talaga.
Tila nagbabago na ang serbisyo ng Etihad. Noong nakaraang biyahe ko, kapag matagal kang naghintay sa Abu Dhabi International Airport para sa connection flight mo, libre pa ang dinner at breakfast. Ngayon, alaws na. Dahil kaya sa global financial crisis?
Member ako ng frequent flyer ng Etihad. Dami ko ng points. Kunin ko na kaya ang reward ko at baka pati ito ay biglang mawala? Say nyo?

CORY AQUINO, NAMAYAPA NA
Nagluluksa ang sambayanang Filipino sa pagkamatay ni dating Pangulong Corazon "Cory" Aquino kaninang alas 3.18 ng madaling araw, 01 August 2009. Si Cory ang tinaguriang Ina ng Demokrasya ng mga Filipino. Siya ay 76. Namayapa siya habang nakikipaglaban sa sakit na colon cancer.
Sa pagkakataong ito, tila bagang dininig ng Diyos ang mga dasal na huwag ng pahabain pa ang sakit na nadarama ng dating pangulo at payapang sumailalim na sa Kanyang kandili.
Inihatid sa kanyang huling hantungan si Tita Cory noong Miyerkules, ika-5 ng Agosto, 2009 sa Manila Memorial Park sa Paranaque City sa tabi ng kanyang kabiyak na si Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino.

Gumagawa na ng pelikula ang walang takot na nanay ni Manny Pacquiao na si Aling Dionisia. Kasama siya sa pelikulang pagtatambalan ng komikerang si Ai-Ai Delas Alas, dating Presidente Joseph "Erap" Estrada, Sam Milby at Toni Gonzaga.
Gayunpaman, ayon sa nasagap naming balita, pinabulaanan ng "PAC-MOM ng BAYAN" na kinukuha siyang endorser ni Dra Vicki Belo dahil kuntento na raw siya sa angkin niyang ganda at hindi na niya kailangang magparetoke pa.

Nakalaya na rin ang Italyanong kasapi ng International Committee of the Red Cross na si Eugenio Vagni noong Linggo, ika-12 ng Hulyo matapos ang anim na buwang pagkakabihag ng Abu Sayaf. Tulad ng naunang pahayag ng PNP at PNRC, wala raw ramson na ibinayad sa pagpapalaya ni Vagni. Nakaalis na rin ng bansa ang Italyano noong Martes at sinabing babalik pa rin siya sa Pilipinas kung may pagkakataon. The pass mark in the Australian Citizenship test is 60% INCLUDING answering correctly ALL three mandatory questions on the Responsibilities and Privileges of Australian citizenship. As promised, here are sample tests for those who wish to take the Australian Citizenship Test. Please be advised that the Department of Immigration and Citizenship is in the process of changing the content of the test. It will focus more on the privileges and responsibilities of Australian citizens and will be written in plain English to accommodate those refugees and migrants who have low level of English proficiency. It might take effect in August 2009.
The first 5 questions are taken from DIAC website. All questions are based on "Becoming an Australian citizen" booklet. Actual test is by clicking answer by multiple choice. MICHAEL JACKSON, FARRAH FAWCET are DEAD
King of Pop - Michael Jackson
The King of Pop Michael "Jacko" Jackson is dead due to heart attack after he was rushed to UCLA Medical Center, in Los Angeles this afternoon , 25 June 2009. Michael is 50.
The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30pm and performed CPR and took him to the hospital. Jacko is about to return to London for a series of concert when this tragedy happened. Many will surely miss Jacko!
Charlie's Angel - Farrah Fawcett
Meanwhile, one of Charlie's Angels Farrah Fawcett also lost her battle against anal cancer and died. She is 62.

Patay na ang Hari ng Pop na si Michael Jackson sanhi ng atake sa puso. POLITICAL ADS ng maka-administrasyon, NAMAMAYAGPAG NA
Namamayagpag na ang kabi-kabilang anunsyo at political ads ng mga kawani ng gobyernong Arroyo na nagnanais na mahalal sa darating na Election 2010. Sa pagsusuri, tinatayang milyong-milyong pisong pondo ng gobyerno ang ginamit upang mapabango ang mga pangalan nina:

2. Health Secretary Francisco Duque
3. Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr.;
4. Education Secretary Jesli Lapus;
5. Vice President Noli de Castro;
6. Tesda director general Augusto Syjuco;

8. Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman; at

Bilang reaksyon, nagsampa ng petisyon ang Abugadong si Ernesto Francisco sa Regional Trial Court ng Maynila upang mapatigil ang mga anunsyong ito.
Sa aking palagay, walang masama kung gumasta man ng limpak-limpak na salapi ang mga nagnanais na kumandidato sa susunod ng eleksyon kung galing mismo sa kanilang mga bulsa ang pondong ginasta. Makakatulong ang mga salaping ito upang umusad ang ekonomiya. Syempre, tiba-tiba ang ABS-CBN, GMA 7 at ang kanilang mga radio stations at publikasyon.
Pero malaki ang porsyentong galing sa baul ng bayan ang karamihan sa mga perang ito lalo na't sasabihing "for information dessimination" ang lahat. Tutoo naman ito dahil tulad ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan, dapat ipakilala ni Kalihim Francisco Duque ang mga proyekto ng kanyang opisina. Kung hindi galing sa bulsa ng kakandidato at pondo ng bayan, malamang na galing sa mga pribadong personalidad ang mga pondong ginamit sa mga "political ads" na ito. Ngayon palang ay kumukuha na ng mga manok na hihimasin ang mga may-ari ng malalaking korporasyon para sa kanilang pansariling kapakanan sa susunod ng mga taon. Hindi tanga ang mga negosyante upang maglabas ng malaking pondo para sa mga kakandidato kung wala silang mapapala sa mga ito. Para sa kanila, ang eleksyon ay para ring negosyo na kailangang pagtubuan.
At tulad ng dapat asahan, ibabasura na naman ng Korte Suprema ang petisyon ni Atty. Ernesto Francisco dahil mahirap patunayan na pangsariling kapakanan ng mga personalidad na maka-Arroyo ang pagpapalabas ng mga ads na ito. Isa pa, hindi rin sila makakasuhan sa ilalim ng Election Code dahil hindi pa naman sila nagpaparehistro para maging kandidato sa Halalan 2010.
Ang nararapat gawin ng mga mamamayan ay suriin, pag-aralan at timbangin ang mga katangian ng mga kakandidato sa susunod ng halalan. Pero sa mga kumakalam ang sikmura, hindi na naman mahalaga kung sino pa ang umupo sa Malakanyang, Senado, Kongreso, Kapitolyo at Munisipyo dahil wala naman silang aasahang pagbabago kapag nagsipag-upo na ito sa kanilang mga pwesto. Mas okay pa sa kanila na tanggapin ang mga salaping iniaalok ng kung sino mang kandidato kapalit ng kanilang boto dahil kahit papaano ay nakinabang na sila rito.
