Those who did not qualify through the UPCAT or did not make it to either of your UP campus choice, do not fret. There are still 2 options where you can still study at UP:
First: 1) You can try other UP campuses a) if your UPG (University Predicted Grade) is within their cut-off grade and b) they still have available slots. Just present your Non-Qualifier's Slip which shows your UPG to the Office of the Registrar where you intend to enroll. However, there is NO guarantee of acceptance as each campus evaluates you according to their own criteria.
Second: If no UP campus can accommodate you now, you may enroll in any college or university. After earning at least 33 academic units, you can transfer to UP as long as your weighted average is 2.00 or better in accordance with UP marking system.
Kalayaan Residence Hall
For the lucky students who wish to avail of the campus dormitory inside the UP campus in Diliman, it is about time to make an inquiry at Kalayaan Residence Hall as the slots are very limited. The Hall caters solely to freshman students and it is a board and lodging service.
Molave Residence Hall
As a student of UP, I spent all of my college days in the dormitories of UP Diliman. During my freshman year, I lived at Kalayaan Residence Hall. I was at Molave Residence Hall during my second year. My third and last year was spent at Narra Residence Hall (which was already destroyed by fire).
