One of my friends almost lost her daughter who put a piece of the leaf of this plant in her mouth and her tongue swelled to the point of suffocation. This is one plant but there are others with the same characteristics of coloring. Those are also poisonous and we should get rid of them. Please watch out for our children. As we all leave our children at home in the hands of a nanny, we should give them a safe environment where they can play .

Ngak, delikado pala itong plan na ito! We have one of this in the garden! Is it also dangerous to pets, like dogs?! Because, my dogs love to chew grass, cge, tatapon ko na, mahirap na! Tnx for sharing! =)
Thank you po for sharing! This plant is common in our surroundings and I never thought it was dangerous. Like Jomi, I am also worried of our dogs because they can be very naughty. Better safe than sorry. Thanks again for this post. :)
Tama meron kame dati ganyang halaman sa bahay.... Makati nga sha,.. Skamat pala sa pagdalaw sa aking tahanan payaman.
We had that exact same plant before.. So now I know it's dangerous pala...
Wow you have given really nice information. This plant has been seen many times by me but I never knew that it has such dangerous features.
