Three judges, including his mentor Pilita Corrales, successive gave Modesto the exit door. The other 2 are Gary V and Charice Pempengco. There is no need for Martin Nievera to vote since 75% already voted against the security guard from Cagayan De Oro City. Mark Mabasa Exits X Factor Philippines

On Sunday, August 12, 2012, Mark Mabasa, one of the perceived favorites in the X Factor Philippines singing talent search was eliminated in the competition. He and and the boys group, Takeoff, performed their survival and final showdown infront of the 4 mentors and judges - Pilita Corrales, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera and Charice Pempengco -after getting the lowest votes during the week.

Mark sang There's No Easy Way of James Ingram while Secondhand Serenade's Fall For You was performed by Takeoff.

Gary V and Charice voted out Mark Mabasa while Pilita and Martin chose Takeoff to leave the search. Because of the deadlock, the contestant who has the lowest public votes initially has to go. Mark got 3.72% while Takeoff garnered 3.90%.

With his good looks and singing voice, I think Mark Mabasa will still make it in showbiz.
