To preserve the principles and integrity behind Showtime, Director Bobet Vidanes officially eliminated Ryan Bang today, 10 Octiber 2011 as hurado in the popular talent show. The move was to show the respect of the show to the "Madlang Pipol who decide the fate of a judge. Ryan has been judging in the program for almost a year.
On Saturday, 8 October 2011, Ryan Bang was "burado" when he got 25% plus of the "madlang pipol's" votes. It was a sad and dramatic event when almost all hosts shed a tear or two especially main host Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis. Ryan was rescued by Dimples Romana who gave up her seat for the Korean comedian. However, this gesture created mixed reactions from the public.
The move of Director Vidanes is laudable. It is fair and just. Anyway, Ryan Bang still has "Banana Split"
