Danny Orcullo - WPA 8-Ball World Champion

Dennis "Robocop" Orcullo of the Philippines has just captured the elusive WPA (World Pool-Billiard Association)  8-Ball Pool Championship after beating Neils "The Terminator" Feijen of the Netherlands, 10-3.

Ang paligsahan ay ginanap sa Fujairah Exhibition Centre sa Fujairah, United Arab Emirates noong Sabado, ika- 26 ng Pebrero, 2011. Ito ang kaunaunahang mapanalunan ni Orcullo ang koronang ito matapos tangahaling kampeon ng World Pool League, World Pool Masters, Derby City Classic, US Bar Table at Billiards Congress of America.

Orcullo Pinataob si Boening

Pinataob ng Pinoy na si Dennis "Robocop" Orcullo ang katunggaling Amerikano na si Shane "The South Dakota Kid" Van Boening sa billiard at nasungkit ang Derby City Classic 9-Ball Division. Ang laban ay ginanap sa Horseshoe Casino sa Elizabeth, Indiana, USA noong ika-29 ng Enero 2011.

Hindi naman naging luhaan si Boening dahil tinanghal siyang All-Around Master sa nasabing torneo.

On July 6, 2008, Dennis "Surigao & Robocop" Orcullo of the Philippines is $40,000 richer for winning the 2008 Qatar World 9-Ball Open Billiard Tournament in Doha, Qatar. He defeated Niels "The Terminator" Feijen of Holland, 13-5.

Congrats Dennis! You made us Pinoys proud!
