1. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo;
2. Health Secretary Francisco Duque
3. Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr.;
4. Education Secretary Jesli Lapus;
5. Vice President Noli de Castro;
6. Tesda director general Augusto Syjuco;
7. Pagcor chairman Efraim Genuino;
8. Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman; at
9. Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita

Mayroong samahang rehiyonal - Ilokano, Kapampangan, Bikolano, Cebuano, Bulakeno, atbp.

The Filipino Greeter at WALMART

Read how the Filipino got his job:

An office manager was given the task to hire someone to fill a job opening - a greeter. He decided to interview four people: an American, a Russian, an Australian, and a Filipino, named Eleuterio.He called the four in and asks them only one question. Their answer would decide who gets the job. As the four sat around the conference table, the interviewer asked, "What is the fastest thing you know?"

The American, replied, "A THOUGHT. It just pops intoyour head. There's no warning that it's on the way; it's just there. A THOUGHTis the fastest thing I know." "That's very good!" said the interviewer. "And now you sir?" he asked the Russian. "Hmm.... let me see. A Blink! It comes and goes and you don't know that it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know.""Excellent!" said the interviewer. "The blink of an eye, that's a very popular cliché for speed. "He then turned to the Australian who was contemplating his reply ."Well, out at my dad's ranch, on the wall there's a light switch. When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture, the light in the barn comes on. Yep,TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of." The interviewer was very impressed with the third answer and thought he had found his man. "It's hard to beat the speed of light" he thought.

Turning to Eleuterio, the fourth and final man, the interviewer posed the same question.The Pinoy replied, "Apter hering da 3 preybyus ansers, sir, et's obyus to medat the pastest thing is DIARRHEA."

"WHAT!?" said the interviewer, stunned by the response. The others were already giggling on their seats..."Oh, I can expleyn, sir," said Eleuterio. "You see, sir, da ader day my tummy was peeling bad and so I run so fast to the CR, but before I could THINK, BLINK,or TURN ON DA LIGHT, 'tang ina, sir, I had alreydi shit in my pants!"

Eleuterio is now the new "Greeter" at Wal-Mart.

Indians Versus Lebs?

Indian students in Australia had staged a protest two days in a row at Harris Park, Sydney, over their claim of inaction by the police on racially motivated incidents towards them by group of Australians of Lebanese descents. Similar protest was staged in Melbourne last week. Authorities said that the bashing of Indian students and a molotov bomb hurling of an Indian student at his house were separate incidents and should not be viewed as racism in nature.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd called on all parties to restrain and be calm while Thiruvallam Bhasi sent a letter to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to intervene.

Lincoln Lewis Mobile Phone Sex Scandal

Another Home and Away cast is on the grind. Lincoln Lewis playing Geoff in the TV series admitted capturing their sex acts with another starlet and showed it to the other casts of the show. Channel 7 bosses said that the "exhibitionist(?)" actor is disciplined and is undergoing counselling.

This scandal is another blow to Home and Away as Lewis is a role model. This year Logie winner might be a target of snubbing by concerned parents. The actor admitted that his act when he was just 20 years old was absolutely stupid.

The sex act was already deleted from Lewis's mobile phone but most of his fans are surely more than willing to see it surfaced.

Jodi Gordon - Drug Addict?

The famous Home and Away starlet Jodi Gordon of Australian television fell victim to drug abuse when she admitted taking cocaine on the day she and a bikie suspected of kidnapping were found cowering in the bedroom of a unit at Sydney's Bellevue Hill. Members of the police rushed to the unit after report that armed bandits were loitering in the unit's premises. It became known that this was pure hallucination by the duo. Earlier, Jodi was reported missing from the King Cross area by his boyfriend Ryan Stokes, Channel 7's heir-apparent.

With this development, Jodi should be removed from her role in the Home and Away program. She is not a good role model as she tarnished her character Martha in the series. I believe that a breakup with her boyfriend will follow. Jodi should go to a rehab. She deserves the Logie that she won for her acting but only our sympathy for her real life drug scandal.

Palestine - USA's 51st State?

Booking for an Australian Citizenship Test

Booking for an Australian Citizenship Test nowadays is a headache. I tried to book my wife for a test last week but the gentleman at the other end told me that there was no slot available and I have to call this week. Today (01 June 2009), I called the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) hotline 131880 and the lady at the other end told me the same thing - there is no slot available and she told me to call another day. I asked her "what day" and she answered she does not know. I told her if she does not know the specific date to call her that it means I have to call the Department everyday? "If you have to", she answered. Of course, I have to. How can I have an appointment for my wife's test if I will not call? And if you do call everyday, there is no guarantee that you can get a booking or if it is ever available. This means that you have to pay the telephone company whenever you call DIAC for something that you or them are not sure of. It is a "hit or miss" scenario where the only winner is the telephone company. To make the matter worst, DIAC can never tell you when and how any slot will be ever available.
I do not really know the real reason why the DIAC is doing this. They can't tell when you can make the booking. They won't take your name for future booking. So what's the use of reading the book "Becoming an Australian citizenship" when you would not know when you are going to take the test? Should you read it everyday? How can you prepare for the test?
If the lack of computers or staff is the problem, why can't DIAC give a "paper-based test?" This is more economocal because a lot of people can take the test with minimum staff. To minimise telephone cost, can aspiring test taker just leave their details and availability on DIAC's website? It is like booking for a flight where one can see the available dates and locations of the test and if situation arises, one can easily cancel and rebook. Something has to be done!
