Happy Yipee Yehey Bids Goodbye on February 4, 2012

My prediction is correct. ABS-CBN's "Happy Yipee Yehey" hosted by John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Rico J. Puno, Pokwang, etc. will have its final episode on Saturday, February 4, 2012 with the My Girl finals at the AFP Theater. The sad news was issued by Bong Osorio, Head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communication. The displaced hosts and artists will be accommodated to various programs of the network. HYY is only one year old.

I think the demise of HYY is the fact that the hosts lack the confidence and trust of the viewing public. They look "trying hard" especially Rico J. Puno although his intention is pure and candid. For a moment, only Pokwang and Toni Gonzaga revive HYY and yet their efforts are not enough to resuscitate a dying show.

I don't know if Wil Time Bigtime's host Willie Revillame is happy about the news.
