Trisha Co Reyes o f St Stephen's High School of Manila, a 13-year old Filipino bested an approximate 600,000 other children around the world to win the 20th International Children's Painting Competition on the Environment. The worldwide contest was sponsored by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Trisha was awarded with $2,000 in cash and a paid trip ticket and accommodation to the TUNZA International Children & Youth Conference on the Environment in Bandung, Indonesia on 27 September - 01 October 2011, where she also got her awards.
Trisha's painting depicted a "young girl pulling back a large grey curtain covered in images of dying trees in a polluted landscape, to reveal a colorful forest filled with abundant wildlife".
Trisha also won first prize in the annual nationwide poster-making contest entitled "Apoy, Bagyo, Kalamidad: Dibuhong Pambata (ABKD) 2010 in Category B ( 10-12 years old) sponsored by the Citizens' Disaster Response Center.

3rd Prize - Hanna Gall, 12 years old, Hungary
3rd Prize - Antine Hsu, 13 years old, Taiwan
3rd Prize - Bianca Martin - 15 years old, Canada
