Pacquiao - Bradley WBO Welterweight Bout on June 9, 2012

Fans of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao are not at all excited with his coming WBO welterweight bout with Timothy Bradley. The scheduled boxing event will be held on June 9, 2012 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Bradley is the current WBP junior welterweight champion with 28 professional undefeated card.

Many fans are still looking forward to a Cotto, Marquez or Mayweather fight before The People's Champ decides to retire in 2013 for a religious calling. However, I still believe that a Manny Pacquiao - Nonito Donaire fight is the best closing bout of the Bible Ambassador of the Philippines.

Nonito Donaire Jr. Gets 4th WBO Title Over Vazquez

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire Jr. captured his 4th WBO title over Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, USA on Saturday evening, February 4, 2012. Donaire got the super bantamweight belt via split decision, 117-110 & 117-110 for him and 115-112 for Vazquez.

The Philippine government readily congratulated Donaire for his triumph. Many Filipinos hope for another Manny Pacquiao in the person of The Filipino Flash.

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire Jr Retains WBC & WBO Bantamweight Belts

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire Jr retained his WBC & WBO bantamweight belts via unanimous decision against Omar "El Huracan" Narvaez of Argentina in New York, Saturday , 22 October 2011. The fight was held at Madison Square Garden Theater with near-capacity crowd of 4,425.

Donaire was disappointed and apologized to his fans because he anticipated a knockout. All 3 judges scored 120 - 108 for Donaire.

Nonito Donaire Jr. captures WBO/WBC bantamweight title by  Technical Knock Out (TKO) from  Fernando Montiel in the second round. The fight was televised via HBO Saturday, 19 February 2011 from the Mandalay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. This is Donaire's 25th straight win.

Apat na beses na pinabagsak ng world flyweight champion na si Nonito Donaire Jr, and kanyang katunggaling Mehikano na si Raul Martinez upang mapanatili ang kanyang IBO/IBF title sa pamamagitang ng technical knockout (TKO) noong Linggo, 19 April 2009 sa Araneta Colisuem sa Lungsod ng Quezon.

Ganito rin ang ginawa ng dating World Boxing Council champion na si Brian "The Hawaiian Punch" Viloria sa Mehikano ring si Ulises Solis sa ika-11 round para makamit ang korona ng IBF light flyweight.

Sa panimulang suntukan, pinahinto rin ni Denver Cuello ng Iloilo ang Hapon na si Hiroshi Matsumoto sa ikaapat na round upang masungkit ang WBC international minimum weight samantalang pinahirapan din ni Drian Francisco ang kanyang katunggaling Indonesian sa ikalawang round.

Sa pangyayaring ito, medyo nabuhayan ang loob ang mga Filipino at nagbigay sigla upang abangan ang labang Pacquiao - Hatton sa Las Vegas, USA sa susunod na buwan. Pansamantala ring nakalimutan ang hirap ng pamumuhay habang walang inaatupag ang Kongreso kundi ang mag-CHA-CHA!
