Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista of the Philippines knocked out Mexico's Miguel Angel Mendoza in the 6th round of their 12 rounds boxing bout. Baustista retained his IBF featherweight belt at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City on Saturday, December 2011.
With the win, Boom Boom raised his card to 32-2 with 24 KOs while Mendoza lost for the first time of his 17 KOs winning spree.
