The Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) has presented to the media and the public on Monday, February 13, 2012, the 30 official candidates for this year's search for Bb. Pilipinas - Universe 2012, Bb. Pilipinas - International 2012 and Bb. Pilipinas - World 2012. The candidates faced rigorous screening and selection headed by BPCI's founder Stella Marquez Araneta, corporate sponsors and current and former Bb. Pilipinas winners including Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup, Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman, Miss Universe 1999 1st runner-up Miriam Quiambao and Marie Ann Umali, Bb. Pilipinas - World 2009.
Nine (9) of the candidates came from Metro Manila, 12 from Luzon, 3 from Visayas, 2 Mindanao and 3 from overseas.
