Qantas Offers Free Tickets
As an apology for the sudden grounding of all its flights on 29 October 2011, Qantas is offering free return tickets to Australia and New Zealand to all passengers affected by the fiasco. The free ticket will cost the airline about A$20 million.
Qantas has been in conflict with labor unions in its bid to resurrect the losing airlines by outsourcing some of its services overseas.
I think the solution for Qantas is marketing strategies and good scheduling for all its flights.
