On this day, 11 September 2001, I was in Saudi Arabia working when we learnt that an airplane crashed into one of the World Trade Towers in New York. At first, I thought and most us did, that this was just an ordinary and unfortunate accident. However, when another airplane slammed into the other tower, I thought it was not at all just an ordinary incident. It was a terrorist attack! And the rest was history.
This day, we remember the lives lost in this horrific attack against American policies. Osama Bin Ladin, the leader of this plot, was already dead and yet the threat still goes on. As long as there is injustice and discrimination felt by these terrorists, the world is still not yet a safe place to live on. Treat others as you want others to be treated!
